Dr. Hakan Yalciner received his B.Sc. degree from Civil Engineering Department at European University of Lefke (EUL) with a high honor degree in 2005. He was a student assistant between 2003 and 2005 years. He completed his MSc thesis at European University of Lefke in 2007.

Dr. Yalciner received his PhD degree from Civil Engineering Department at Eastern Mediterranean University in Structural Engineering and Material Engineering programs in 2012. During his PhD education, he found an opportunity to join some experimental studies (strengthening of RC beams by FRP anchorage) at McMaster University in Canada under the supervision of Prof. Dr. A. Ghani Razaqpur. During his PhD education, he developed new corrosion models for the prediction of ultimate bond strength of un-corroded and corroded reinforcement bars as a function of concrete cover depths, concrete strength levels for different corrosion levels. Dr. Yalciner developed new corrosion models for the prediction of time-dependent seismic performance levels of reinforced concrete buildings. Although his PhD thesis focused on corrosion and seismic performance levels of reinforced concrete buildings, he found opportunities to study on other areas like repairing and strengthening of reinforced concrete buildings. He published different and journal papers on these subjects. His PhD advisors were Prof. Dr. Ozgur EREN and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhan SENSOY.  Dr. Yalciner very grateful to his PhD advisors for milstone of his academic life.

Dr. Yalciner is expert on corrosion, earthquake and blast load analysis. He is a voting member of ACI Committee on Corrosion Studies since 2018. He is the first Turkish academician who involved in this committe from Turkey.

Dr. Yalciner has been working at Erzincan University as an Earthquake Engineer.  He is the chairman of  13th March Structural Mechanics Lab.

Research committee did not belive the proposed theory by Alfred Lothar Wegener, but today.......If the research is in the case leave yourself from all prejudgements...
